Tool Submission & Listing Guidelines
Last Updated: August 27, 2026
CredibleAI Tools is a curated directory designed to help people discover useful, legitimate, and relevant AI tools.
We review submissions before publication. Because we want to maintain the quality and usefulness of the directory, not every submitted tool will be accepted.

Comply with applicable laws and regulations
Provide sufficient information for us to evaluate the submission
We may consider tools at different stages of development, but incomplete, inaccessible, or non-functional products may not be accepted.

3. Low-Value or Thin AI Products
Not every product described as an “AI tool” will qualify for inclusion.
We may reject products that provide little meaningful functionality beyond:
Repackaging another service
A basic AI interface with no meaningful product value
A collection of generic prompts with minimal functionality
Automatically generated content with little user value
A simple wrapper around another service without meaningful differentiation
A product whose AI functionality is unclear or incidental
The presence of an AI feature alone does not guarantee acceptance.
We consider the overall usefulness, functionality, originality, and relevance of a product.
4. Misleading Claims
We may reject tools that make claims that appear:
False
Misleading
Unverifiable
Exaggerated
Unsupported by available evidence
Examples may include unrealistic claims about guaranteed income, guaranteed business results, guaranteed rankings, guaranteed accuracy, or claims that cannot reasonably be supported.
We may request clarification or supporting information before making a decision.
5. Broken or Inaccessible Tools
We may reject or remove tools where:
The website does not work
The submitted URL is invalid
The product is no longer available
The product cannot reasonably be evaluated
The service is permanently discontinued
The submission contains misleading or inaccessible links
Temporary technical issues may be handled differently depending on the circumstances.

We generally do not accept multiple duplicate listings for the same tool.
If a tool has already been listed, please contact us if you need to:
Update the listing
Correct information

Submitting the same tool repeatedly may result in rejection.
7. Information Required for Submission
Depending on the submission type, we may request information such as:

Company or developer name
Website URL
Category
Description
Key features
Pricing information
Contact information
Logo
Screenshots
Demo or video
Other information necessary for evaluation
We may request additional information when necessary.
8. Accuracy of Submitted Information

By submitting such material, you authorize CredibleAI Tools to use it as reasonably necessary for the relevant directory listing and related promotional or website purposes, subject to our Terms of Service.
10. Free and Paid Submissions
CredibleAI Tools may offer both free and paid listing options.
A paid submission may provide additional benefits depending on the selected plan, such as enhanced visibility, featured placement, or additional listing features.
However:
Payment does not guarantee acceptance.
We may reject a paid submission if the tool does not meet our requirements.
Payment also does not guarantee:
A positive review
A particular editorial rating
A particular organic ranking
Editorial endorsement
Permanent publication
11. Featured and Sponsored Listings
Some paid plans may provide featured or sponsored placement.
These placements are promotional opportunities and may be identified as featured or sponsored where appropriate.
Paid visibility does not override our basic submission requirements.
A tool must still meet our eligibility standards.
12. Review and Approval Process
We may manually review submitted tools before publication.
Our review may consider:
Website accessibility
Product functionality
Relevance
Quality
Use case
Accuracy of submitted information
User value
Safety considerations
Existing directory coverage
Editorial standards
The review process may take different amounts of time depending on the submission and the information provided.
We may contact the submitter if additional information is required.
13. Editorial Changes
If we accept a tool, we may make reasonable editorial changes to its listing.
These may include:
Formatting
Grammar
Categorization
Headline or summary adjustments
Removing unsupported claims
Updating publicly available information
Correcting obvious errors
We may also update listings independently when information changes.
14. Rejection of a Submission
We may reject a submission for any legitimate editorial, quality, safety, legal, operational, or business reason.
A rejection does not necessarily mean that we believe the company or product is unlawful or inherently unsafe.
It simply means that the submission does not meet our current requirements or is not suitable for inclusion at that time.
We are not required to publish every submitted tool.
15. Removal of an Existing Listing
We may remove, suspend, or modify an existing listing if:
The product is discontinued
The website becomes inaccessible
The information becomes materially misleading
The product no longer meets our guidelines
The tool falls into a prohibited category
We receive a valid legal or rights-related complaint
The listing contains fraudulent information
The product creates significant safety or security concerns
The listing violates our Terms or policies
Other circumstances make continued publication inappropriate
Where appropriate, we may contact the listing owner before removal, but we are not required to do so in every situation.
16. Updating an Existing Listing
Tool owners may contact us when important listing information changes.
Examples include:
New pricing
New features
New website URL
Rebranding
Company acquisition
Product discontinuation
Major changes to the product
We may review update requests before making changes.
17. Requesting a Correction
If you believe that a listing contains incorrect information, please contact us with:
The tool name
The relevant listing URL
The information you believe is incorrect
The corrected information
Supporting information where appropriate
We may review the request and make changes where appropriate.
18. No Guarantee of Publication
Submitting a tool is a request for consideration, not a guarantee of publication.
We reserve the right to decide:
Whether a tool is listed
How it is categorized
What information is displayed
Whether it receives featured placement
Whether editorial content is published
Whether a listing remains on the website
Our decisions may take into account factors beyond the information provided in a submission.
19. Changes to These Guidelines
These guidelines may be updated as CredibleAI Tools grows and as our editorial, safety, quality, and business requirements evolve.
We may add, remove, or modify categories and requirements.
The current version published on CredibleAITools.com will apply to new submissions and, where appropriate, existing listings.
